On February 01, opening of the personal exhibition of Yerbossyn Meldibekov “Buran – Baikonur, between the Silk Road and the Milky Way” will take place at 18.00 in Almaty, in the Marble Hall of the Army House.

A few years ago, Yerbossyn Meldibekov formulated a metaphor in which Central Asia appeared as a Buran spacecraft that took off from the Baikonur cosmodrome and got lost in space. The exhibition “Buran – Baikonur, ...” is a detailed visual elaboration of the artist’s ideas, the sum of the artist’s principled artistic statements, because in extreme times only statements in principle are required and accepted.
The address of the Army House: 24, Zenkov street; the building is located on the territory of the 28 Panfilov Guards park. The marble hall of the Army House is located on the second floor. Access to the Marble Hall is possible via the stairs located to the left of the main entrance.
