Sustainable Rural Development Fund has taken part in the UNDP side event

At the side event, stakeholders have held the informal discussions of the issues addressed in the process of UN panel sessions. 2022 has been declared the Year of children in Kazakhstan, and a particular emphasis of the side event was placed on improving the well-being of the population in rural areas and raising the quality of life of the next generation.

Sustainable Rural Development Fund was represented by Ksenia Verba, who has presented the main projects and shared our vision of the model of sustainable development as a synergy of Society, Government and Business, with a desire to unite in the implementation of a common goal, based on the strategy and with the scaling of projects throughout the country.
The event was attended by Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov, UN Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Kazakhstan Michaela Friberg-Storey, UNDP Resident Representative in the Republic of Kazakhstan Yakup Beris, UNICEF representative Arthur Van Diesen, Kazakhstan Resident Representative to the UN Magzhan Ilyassov, UN human rights consultant Khalida Azhigulova, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights of the RK Ministry of Education and Science Dulat Zhekebayev and the Director of the “Ana Uyi” Non-governmental foundation Anara Rakhimbayeva.
